Pat’s Alternative Bus Tour is the solo project by Andrew Paterson from Scottish indiepop band The Felt Tips, who has resided in the South Side of Glasgow for over 10 years. His first solo album, Virtual Virgins, was released in 2024, showcasing his melodic, witty and uncompromising songs which – you guessed it – take alternative perspectives on everyday aspects of life.
Now Pat (Andrew’s nickname since childhood) is ready to release his second solo album, World to Rights. Like his debut, this new album was recorded at home using a range of hired instruments, computer sounds and a couple of old guitars. A single from the album, Join the Dots, will be released on 1st February.
So join the Tour, and through laughing, crying or dancing you’ll end up on the floor in one in one way or another.
